Paralysis

2024 - Blender, Procreate, After Effects, Premiere Pro

Paralysis is an animated short film that navigates themes of familial attachment and individuality in a surrealist context. It follows a girl who loses her mother at an outdoor market and frantically searches for her within the turbulent environment, encountering a range of otherworldly creatures. She ultimately comes to find her mother deceased at the same place where she was lost, indicating that she has been gone the entire time, and the girl has been chasing her own memory of her mother in denial of reality. I used blender and applied graphic 2D textures.

Beautiful Boy Diner Scene

2023 - Maya, Premiere Pro

I interpreted a scene from the movie Beautiful Boy into 3D character animation. The scene depicts a father and son having a complex and emotional argument regarding the son’s drug abuse. Created with sample rigs in Maya.

Paralysis Motion Tests

2024 - Blender, Premiere Pro

A series of motion tests based on my thesis film Paralysis. I focused mostly on experimenting with fluid simulations in Blender. I also practiced creating a sense of unease and a surreal reveal moment during the last clip.

Deadly Waitress

2023 - Maya

I aimed to create expressive character movement in Maya along with lip-syncing to an audio clip from Monsters Inc. I wanted to convey a dramatic yet slightly comedic tone.

Fine Dining

2022 - Maya

I modeled an intimate diner setting, depicting the interior environment right before it gets hit by a large projectile. I drew inspiration from pre apocalyptic scenarios such as the introduction of the Fallout series.

Black Sketchbook Sample

A sample of pages from my black sketchbook in which I experimented with traditional media on black backgrounds.

Daily Sketchbook Sample

2023 - ink, colored pencils and marker on paper

A sample of a daily sketchbook in which I executed different prompts of technical approach.
